Person-centred Thinking with Young People with Autism

This e-learning module was developed with Ambitious about Autism, the national charity for children and young people with autism. It builds on learning from the Finished at School programme – a Department for Education funded project to improve school to college transition for young people with autism, including those with complex autism.
The programme is centred around four college-led hubs that formed a partnership with local mainstream and special secondary schools and worked closely with a group of young people with autism and their families to support their move from school to college.
This course will help you to understand and use 9 of the person-centred thinking tools.
Used properly, these tools will help you to make a difference to the children and young people that you work with.
